Meet Our Five Doctors
George J Wyhinny, M.D.
Dr. Wyhinny has performed retina, vitreous, and macular surgeries for over 30 years. He is on the teaching staff at Rush University where he is an assistant professor, and also the University of Illinois where he is an assistant clinical professor.
Daniel C. Alter M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Daniel Alter is a board certified ophthalmologist with fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery. His practice is limited to the treatment of various conditions affecting the retina. Commonly treated conditions are macular degeneration, floaters and other retinal conditions.
Enrique Garcia-Valenzuela, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Garcia-Valenzuela has been a practicing ophthalmologist specializing in retina, vitreous and macular eye diseases since 2001. His special interests are macular degeneration diseases, uveitis and others.
Bryan M. Kim, M.D.
Dr. Kim’s expertise includes retinal tears and detachments, macular degeneration, macular holes and puckers, diabetic retinopathy, intraocular tumors, ocular trauma, uveitis, retinal vascular diseases, and retinopathy of prematurity. Dr. Kim is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
